JOHN BELL AO, OBE -
ACTING MASTERCLASS FOR SINGERS
Saturday, August 3, 2019
1:00 PM 3:30 PM
Central Coast Leagues Club
1 Dane Dr Gosford NSW 2250
This is an exceptional opportunity to hear from John Bell AO, OBE of Bell Shakespeare Renown, as he instructs our Emerging Artists in an acting masterclass designed specifically for the Operatic Arts.
Aside from the technical vocal mastery needed to professionally perform Opera, being able to deliver a transformative experience through a character is a skill that requires years of instruction and development. Our Emerging Artists will learn from Australia’s internationally recognised master of acting… JOHN BELL.
John founded The Bell Shakespeare Company in 1990 where he served as Director until 2015. His productions include over 15 of Shakespeare’s greatest works, which have been played to almost 2.5 million Australians. The Bell Shakespeare Company currently resides at the Sydney Opera House.
John will combine his undisputed talent and gift for acting with his knowledge of the intricacies involved in combining acting with the technical aspects of Opera singing.
This is an amazing chance to expand your experience of the Operatic world delivered by a level of international professionalism in a setting not usually open to the public.
Interest has already been high so invite your friends and book your tickets online as soon as possible. Tickets will be limited to ensure the quality of the event for our Emerging Artists.
