TICKETING POLICY

Conditions of Sale:

Tickets are sold for and on behalf of Coast Opera Australia; Tickets are subject to Coast Opera Australia's conditions of sale and to the requirements of the venue at which the activity is presented (Central Coast Leagues Club, Lexus Central Coast).

This ticket or Season Subscription is valid only when purchased from Coast Opera Australia or an authorized agent.

No refunds or exchanges except as in Entertainment Industry Consumer Code.

Coast Opera Australia reserves the the right of admission and reserves the right to to adjust, substitute or withdraw advertised programs, artists, and seating arrangements. Patrons arriving late will not be admitted into the venue’s auditorium unless there is a suitable break in the performance. Patrons who disrupt a performance may be ejected from the venue

Cameras and other recording devices are prohibited in the venue's auditorium. Mobile telephones, pagers and so forth must be turned off before entry into the venue’s performance area.

Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of Coast Opera Australia, be resold or offered for resale contrary to applicable laws (including via online auction sites or resale agents) either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If the ticket is sold or offered for resale in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without notice, without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

Performances may be unsuitable for children under eight years of age. All patrons, irrespective of age, must hold a valid ticket.

CONCESSION POLICY & ACCESS TO TICKETS

Coast Opera Australia is not providing concessional pricing for its 2019 Season Events.

Coast Opera Australia sometimes offers priority booking (access to tickets before they are released for general sale) to customers who have signed up to receive offers and newsletters. You can sign up for our e-newsletter and receive regular emails from us that will sometimes include special offers.

SUBSCRIPTION POLICY 2019 SEASON

Tickets sold to Coast Opera Australia performances are subject to Coast Opera Australia’s conditions of sale as stated previously.

Payment by cheque, money order or credit card must accompany your application. Your cheque or money order will be banked, or credit card will be debited, on receipt of your application to establish priority for your application within Coast Opera Australia’s ticketing system.

Season Subscriptions will be available online until 24 hours prior to first event of the Season.

Should Coast Opera Australia be unable to satisfy ticket requests, customers will be contacted and alternatives discussed or monies refunded.

Subscriptions can be refunded up to 1 week prior to the first Season event. Coast Opera Australia will not refund a Season Subscription or perform a partial refund of a Season Subscription unless the reasons are outlined in the Industry Code of Conduct (CLICK HERE)

ATTENDANCE POLICIES

Children and infants attending the Opera:

All attendees, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket to be admitted to the auditorium. This includes children and infants who must have their own seat, and cannot sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. We ask that parents and guardians consider the comfort and enjoyment of other audience members if bringing infants and small children to the Opera.


Latecomers:

For the comfort and convenience of all patrons, latecomers can only be admitted into the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance. Suitable breaks vary between operas and may not be until the first interval. If a suitable break prior to interval is identified, latecomers may not be seated in their ticketed seats, rather in an area adjacent an entrance, where minimal disruption will be caused to seated attendees. This is at the discretion of venue staff. Ticket refunds or exchanges are not available on the basis of late arrival. Coast Opera Australia strongly recommends planning your journey to ensure you arrive at the venue well in advance of the scheduled performance commencement.

Persons aged under 16 years must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

For the safety and security of all patrons, prams or baby capsules of any description cannot be taken into the auditorium. Aisles, stairways and stairwells must be kept clear at all times.


Lost tickets:

If tickets are lost replacement tickets can be collected from the Ticketing Desk before the start of the Performance. All tickets are registered on our database however for quick entry into the event, we request that you bring your ticketing receipt or season pass with you.


Your behaviour:

You are responsible for behaving in a manner that does not interfere with the safety and enjoyment of others. You must not:

(a) behave in a manner which causes or may cause property damage or that threatens or may threaten the safety of performers, visitors, other audience members or any other person, including as a result of intoxication; or

(b) behave in a manner that unreasonably interferes with other audience members' enjoyment of the premises or event, including through the use of cameras, mobile phones, or other electronic devices.
